Muslimgauze - " Kabul " (Product Kinematograph PKR1) 1983)

Came with included Fanzine by Bryn Jones, featuring his cut-up artwork; which in my humble opinion was far superior to his music. I am hoping that the repetitive politics ,that came as standard with every release, was part of the art too; ...or did he really mean it? A Muslimgauze release was basically an art object, and usually a very attractive piece of real estate it was too.
The music on Kabul is more of the same, early in his 200 album career. Lots of echo laden captured dialogue, electronic percussion in a pseudo-ethnic vein, with some minimal dubbed up synthy bits. Great for background music at dope smoking parties, if you like that kind of thing.
Drugs are for dysfunctional (word of the week) hippies.Don't go there kids.Keep it real.
